Absentee Bid
If you can’t be present, let us bid for you. Tell us your maximum bid (70% of all successful absentee bids sell for less than the maximum bid authorized by the buyer).

Bid Live Online
Sign In to an existing account or register for a new account to place absentee or live online bids directly through the Clars L.A. website.
No matter where you are, as long as you have a reliable internet connection, you can follow and bid in our auctions live online, through live.clarsla.com. Please register to bid on the platform of your choice by 12pm PST the day before the auction, to make sure you have been approved. We aim to confirm registrations right away, but it’s best to allow several hours before the start of an auction to ensure online bidding participation. Please note, if you need an increase in your bid limit, contact us at least 24 hours in advance.
To participate in our auction online, clients have the following options:

Bid in Timed Auctions
Timed auctions run for a defined amount of time, typically a few days or weeks. This allows bidders to register and place one or more bids on lots of interest until the last day listed.

Telephone Bid
Because of phone and staff limitations, phone bidders must be willing to place an opening bid of at least five hundred dollars ($500) on any item.
*A buyer’s premium will be added to the successful bid price at a rate equal to 26% of the first $500,000 of the bid price, 20% of the bid price on any amount between $500,001 and $1,000,000, and 10% of the bid price on anything above $1,000,000. (For those who bid through the internet, there is a 2.5% surcharge for Clars L.A. Online Bidding or 5% for all other bidding platforms), plus any applicable sales tax.
